SCHWARZSCHILD NULL-GEODESIC RAY TRACER · RELATIVISTIC THIN DISK

r_s = 1 — shadow ≈ 2.6 r_s, photon sphere at 1.5 r_s. Light is integrated along exact null geodesics: the halo over the shadow is the far side of the disk, lensed up and over. Keplerian speed v = √(M/(r−r_s)), Doppler beaming (approaching side brighter & bluer), gravitational redshift √(1−3r_s/2r), and a Shakura–Sunyaev temperature profile.
